About Us
Empty nesting Auburn alums and parents with one foot in Tennessee and the other in our beloved little village on the plains.
Our story began in Auburn in May, 1995, when we were Auburn students and both staying in Auburn for the Summer. We met by happenstance through Ciarla’s sorority big sister who lived across the street from Joe on Ross St. Many game day dates and date parties later, we were married in Atlanta in the Fall of 1998 . While life has moved us around a bit, we have remained deeply rooted in Auburn and regularly traveled back and forth many times a year. We always planned to move back permanently to retire when the time came, but in the Fall of 2022, we became empty-nesters when the youngest of our two sons left to attend Auburn for college, so we decided it was as good as time as any to start a short-term rental adventure together in the place where our story began so many years ago and where our hearts have never left.
